Financial Support
Micro-grants and seed funding: Starting a nonprofit is challenging, especially for those who need initial support to get off the ground. Gryphon Foundation’s seed funding provides early-stage grants to cover the essentials for nonprofits and NGOs in their pre-501(c)(3) phase, helping them with formation costs and navigating the tax-exempt application process. This support is designed to empower leaders to formalize their vision and take the first steps toward long-term impact.
Growth and Expansion Micro-grants: Once an organization has established itself, we offer additional microgrants aimed at stimulating growth and program expansion. These funds are directed toward projects that increase reach, strengthen operations, and deepen community impact, providing crucial resources for nonprofits ready to scale. Gryphon’s financial support helps organizations evolve with purpose, building capacity to ensure sustainable growth.
Who we fund: We support nonprofits and NGOs that are positive, innovative, and mission-driven, led by committed individuals looking to make a meaningful difference. We focus exclusively on organizations dedicated to the greater good and do not fund religious institutions, lobbyists, institutions of higher education, or groups engaging in discriminatory practices.
